What is this website about?

This website has been created as part of my studies in the program 'Supportive Learning Environments' in the Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching - Primary, through CQ University, Rockhampton, Central QLD Australia.  We were asked to write a report on one form of student diversity, aimed at providing information for a beginning teacher.  This report needed to identify the characteristics of this form of diversity and suggest ways to manage this diversity in a school setting.

I have chosen Intellectual Impairment and created this website in the hope it will be of use to teachers with students who have an Intellectual Impairment. This website is designed to give a general overview on Intellectual Impairment with links to further information.

I would be happy to receive information on further relevant links or resources I can add to this site.  Please use the contact form below.

Thank you.
